What is so seductive about the idea of escaping? Why do we all feel the desire to flee and only few dare to fulfill it? In this novel, Norma Knot introduces us to four possible artists of escapism: Sofia, a woman caught in her own melancholy that is not able to run away from herself; Carmelo, an old escapist that is able to break away from a magic box while he continues to be trapped in a tortuous relationship; Sebastian, a former prodigy boy trying to forget the disillusion that he caused his parents and, finally, a Bengala tiger that escapes from its captivity causing chaos in the city.
